Sidetracked again ( I now own a boat)

Euro truck spotted. Help Ozy!

IIRC that year uses a btsi solenoid,power and ground supplied to the solenoid.There are a couple modules that controlit.Most default to the unlock position when disconnected.
 
Thanks for the reply Bob. Got it working. I pulled of the panel under the steering col. and found nothing I could deal with, looked like an air bag. Finally removed the plastic cover around the steering column and behind the steering wheel and I could look through from the left side toward the ign. switch, saw a small plastic tube, round (about 3/8") and parallel with the column with a spring below it. i reached through and touched it and it snapped up toward the steering wheel. Tried Ign. switch and unlock started working. I sprayed it with a little WD-40 and put the cover back on. So far so good. This vehicle was flooded up into the front floor pan and sat for three or four days closed up. (Doors and windows). Thanks again. bg
