Install
The thing about the installation was that this unit is a "one-size-fits-all" kind of deal. The instructions were for a F**D, so that complicated things a little. Also getting everything set-up for the correct driveshaft angles was a slight pain.
About splitting low and high gears, I don't know where these guys get these ideas. Maybe GV or US Gear make units like that but the way my GV works is that it is either on or off. Say your in 3rd and you want to use 3rd over, you push in the clutch, pull the button, let the clutch back out, and your in 3rd over. To go to 4th, push in the clutch, push the button in, move the shifter to 4th, let the clutch out, and your in 4th. May sound a little complicated but its like anything else, it becomes easier and smoother every time.
