Selling my Gear Vendor's OD unit. Used in 3 gen w/G56 for about 30K miles. Needs reverse clutch.
Complete kit with everything needed to install it in a 3 gen. Looked into replacing the clutch and
it didn't seem that difficult. I wound up trading my 3 gen in for a '14 with Aisin, so I don't need this
unit anymore. New, they sell for around $3300. I'll sell for $750 plus shipping etc. Plz email -- email address removed --
for more details or pics.

I have an 07 5.9 4X4 Dodge Dually with a G56 stick. I run 285 Nitto Terra Grapplers on it with a 373 geared rear end. I am at 2,000rpm at 65mph on the highway. how much does it drop your rpm and how much fuel mileage increase do you see??? I have wanted to do this for a long time. 30K and it already needs rebuild??? I thought they lasted longer than this. I'm very intristed, I just want to know as much about it as possible before I pull the trigger on it. thanx.

Brian:

I had it in my '06 5.9 SRW with stock tires and 3.73. I don't recall exactly since I now have a
2014, but I believe at 65 I was turning 1600 RPM's. With the OD, I was able to get another 1.5 - 2
MPG. The nice thing about it was the lower RPM just made the truck quieter and smoother. Can't
explain why the reverse clutch went. It was not because I was pushing big HP/TQ as my truck
was totally stock except for the GVOD. I believe it only needs the clutch, not a full rebuild.
