I am thinking about getting the 4" turbo back silverline exhaust from genos. Anybody have one of these and what do you think of it? How does it sound? and how is the fit and finish? Thanks for any help with this!

I just put one on my 01 about 3 weeks ago. It fit perfectly, the only thing I had to do was heat the turbo elbow a little to get the bolts out. It is not really loud, has a good tone from outside but is still quiet in the cab.

Like all Geno's Products - Good Value

Installed one on my 01 this past weekend... ..... fit was very good... ... had to cut two pieces to length. I really like the sound... ... . quiet in the cab ... ... nice throaty sound outside. My wife said it sound "very mean" ..... in a good way!

I would recommend this product... ..... like all products I have used from Geno's ... ... . it is good quality at a very fair price!

Good luck & Travel Safe!Li

Bought the 304 stainless system for my 06 model. . absolutely love it. The fit and finish were/are great. Install went easy, no leaks or rattles. Would definitely reccomend it to anyone.

Well I installed the new exhaust today and am very happy with the results sounds great and went on as if it was from the factory. Thanks again to those of you who replied to this post you made my decision much easier.

This is weird. I put one on mine two months ago. I think it's louder than the silverline on my 12V, and way raspier (CR causing this I think) The only fitment issue I had was the rod on the downpipe would not let the pipe mate to the turbo. I tweaked on it just a bit and all was good. Mine was rushed from the factory (genos shipped it directly from silverline) and I think maybe the flutes in the muffler are backwards. . It's that loud.

I suggest buying a set of band clamps.

Looks damn sexy though.

yeah I had a problem getting the old down pipe off at the rubber isolator bolted to the transmission so I just took off the two bolts that hold it on and attached it to the new downpipe before bolting it back on. Not a big deal though. It definately sounds different than my old 24 valve did but I am not annoyed by it. I have noticed the smoke without the cat is less black or less of it has anyone else noticed this?

I had the same problem on the down pipe. Since I installed the Pac Brake at the same time I was able to rotate the E Brake elbow out slightly (toward the fender) and she lined right up.
