Intermittent power problem EZ

Just received this part in the mail today. This is a very nice addition. For those of you that have one or have experience with them. . How does the filter attach to the cap? It does not have the retaining fingers that are on the plastic cap.

When I used mine the first time, the friction between the filter and cap held it in place to put it in. Now, I just push it in the canister and screw on the cap. Never had a problem. To remove the filter just remove the cap and then pull out the filter. No worries. Looks nice too :D

Master1578, Thanks for the response. I was concerned that the filter has to be attached to the cover to operate correctly. It looks like that is not the case. Are you using the fitting on the top of the cap for a pressure gauge?

I bought the cap with the intention of using it for my FP gauge, but thought it might be a hassle changing the fuel filter. I liked the look of the cap so I decided to just put a little teflon tape on the screw and leave it like that. I hooked my gauge to the Schrader valve instead. I have toyed with the idea of hooking up a needle valve and some tubing to the cap for priming purposes, but it's not at the top of my list at the moment. :)
