Who has installed one of these and how do you like it? I seem to remember when they 1st came out there was some fit issues. The main reason i'm thinking of putting one on is to keep out the leaves and debris.

I have had one on for a couple years now. I did it for the exact reason you state. To keep the crap out. And to be honest I think that is about all they are good for. I dont regret buying it but I bought it to keep the chunks out not fumes and odors. Mine fit fine no problems.

Ditto :D :D :D

Likewise. I replace the filter each spring - guess I'm about due to order this year's.

Keeps the dust down in the interior if you drive in dusty conditions, too.

Been in my rig for 2 years and I can say MY MAIN REASON was to keep all the el crappola out of my hvac box. After seeing hellish nightmares of dashboards ripped out and condensors clogged I flat out freaked and got one.

It doesn't keep the soot out , nor alter the air incoming but it does keep dust lower , and if ya add a scented oil (Raid the wifeys stink up the house drawer) I cn have my incoming air smell far better than any magic tree or otherwise. COLOGNE works too and for a month if ya soak the filtery stuff well enough :-laf

ToolmanTim - that was funny stuff. Now maybe this is a stupid question - but are you serious??? :-laf Did you really drop scented oil /cologne on your cab fresh? :) ::::contemplates a slug of lemon scented pledge:::: ;)

Yep found out the hard way only someone Like the Tool man would. You see I was cleaning my engine bay with s100

(S100 for all who are not in the know is one HELLUVA cycle cleaner ... and degreaser but beware it is a scent that needs some getting used to)

So as a courtesy before going out I fired a few shots of Drakar on the OLD filters as a "Test" to hide the fact I just used a 40 dollar bottle of cycle cleaner the wife just bought me on the truck :-laf Worked like an absolute charm until the unavoidable question came ..... Wow the truck smells great how did you do it... Uhh boy
