Bill, do I have to remove the wipers? looks like the frame has a large hole in each section for the wiper shaft to go thru it.

No, you don't need to remove the wipers, throw it up there and you will see. I did not even use a drill, but if I was not so Lazy it would have made it easer.

Phil, I was set to pull the wipers off till I actually put the filters up there and saw how they worked. Wouldn't have drilled holes either except that the screws kept on tipping over when I tried to self tap them.
