I just received the cup holder that fits on the front of the center section and was wondering what everybody does about closing the lid on the center section. Mine does not close with the cup holder on. Is there an adjustment?

any ideas?

thanks

Even after it is obvious that things aren't working properly you're still refusing to read the directions... ... . good man, directions are for women. :D Just joking, Yes Virginia there is an adjustment, you need a set of vise grips to grab the sticky-up thingy and just turn it counter-clockwise until you can get it to latch.

HAHAHAHA... . that's one of the funniest and actually helpful replies I think I've ever read! HAHAHHAHAAHA... . Virginia..... hahahahahaha

Yep, vice-grips to the locking stud thinga-ma-jig, turn her counter clockwise... had to turn mine about 1/2 inch to get it to close right.

BTW, my Cup Smoothie is BY FAR the best $30 I've ever spent on my Dodge! It's just nice to have that thing there... much better then the stock cup-spillers.

Don't feel bad snowracer, I did the same thing. Cursed, threw things and reflected to myself that I would rather live with the way cool cupholder and flopping lid than take it out and spill my drinks.

Then, lo, from above, came the directions in front of my face. Whoa, what a novel idea. Who comes up with this stuff anyway?

I don't feel bad... I read the directions the first time (and had actually read on here how to move the stud before-hand) and had no problems with mine. Guess that's what I get for being an engineer... .
