Genos Cup Smoothie

What have you guys done to get the center counsel to latch after installing a cup smoothie. Ive got the latch spaced down a . 25" and it still will not close. Any ideas??

If I remember right,( it's been a while ) I shimmed mine down about 1/8in. It seems like the lid was hitting the top of the smoothie just in front of the latch, and I had to trim a small piece off of the smoothie.

yep, i think it was about 3 washers and the dremmel tool on the holder. easy.

i have some pic's here of my cup smoothie



i did nothing to my center console to make the cup smoothie fit. put it in place, close the lid, and give it a quick smack with my hand right above the latch and it closes every time with no problems...
