I was thinking of ordering a cup smoothie, does anyone have one with a 6-speed? I haven't seen one in a 01, do they work good? Any input would be apprieated. (That word doesn't look like it's spelled right)

don't have a six, but...

i do have a five. got mine about six weeks ago. definately good money spent. will hold 12 oz. can up to largest dunkin'donuts cup. maybe even more... cups and cans are VERY stable. not like on the floor. also right at your fingertips. no long reaches allowed. do yourself a favor... get it.

I have one in a 2000 six speed, works great. Beats reaching down on the transmission hump, trying to get at you're favorite beverage. In MHO the floor mounted holder is down right dangerous, you have to take you're eyes off the road and lean over to reach it.

I also was thinking about purchasing one. However, I have leather seats and was wondering if it would scratch or cut the seats?

What has anyone done to the bottom surface?

Frank

Mine is a 97 with leather. The cup smoothie sweaked against the leather. A little foam attached to the bottom of the smoothie and all is well. Go for it.
