I'd like to hear your thoughts/opinions on Geno's fuel filter cap. This seems like an easy way to read FP. I've heard the VP44 is the best place to read the pressure. Would reading the FP at the filter cap be OK? If so, what should the FP read - idle and WOT? Thanks a lot.

there is also a schrader valve on the back of the fuel filter housing. Yes the cap would work too. or you can use a tapped banjo fitting on the outlet of the filter. There are many choices.

I used the banjo on the outlet, fuel pressure is 16 at idle and can drag lower than 12 with the stock lift pump in the stock location

running catcher ecm and mach 2. 5 injectors.

hope this helps

I have the cap from Geno's, however I opted for the schrader valve connection. Thought about returning the cap but decided that a few extra shiny parts never hurt anything

Merry Christmas! Oo.

Thanks, it seems like the shrader valve connection would be the easiest setup-now what all do I need to set this up? Do I need the 18 inch "grease gun" hose?

Geno's sells a hose that screws on the Schrader valve. I bought the tapped bango bolt and installed it in the bottom of the filter, as I still want to be able to screw on my test gauge or allow DC to test. SNOKING

I got the DiProcol FP guage from Geno's. The kit comes with Isolator, tubing and fittings. I also ordered the 18" hose to connect to the Schrader valve. I had to get some extra fittings on my own to complete installation due to isolator being 1/4" F and hose being 1/8" F. It was pretty easy to install. I mounted guage in dash where the little "cubby" was. Geno's also has the dash plate for mounting the guage should you decide to put it there.

I'm getting 13 psi at idle, 9-10 psi cruisin', 5 psi WOT

Pusher kit is next on my list.....
