Yeah, I know, I know..... this has probably been asked before.

Do you guys recommend the Geno's fuel filter? It's about 1/3 the best price I found from the dealer. I'm at ~30,000 miles and this is the 2nd fuel filter replacement (will be the 3rd filter used). I paid the premium from the dealer last time, but don't want to do it again, if Geno's filter is OK. Please let me know, thanks.

NO DEALER FILTER!

DO NOT... I REPEAT... DO NOT BUY A FILTER FROM THE DEALER!!! Unless you liked getting ripped. The Fleetguard filter is the filter you want anyway, so don't pay all that dough to the dealer! Buying directly from a Cummins dealer can often net the best price of all.

Genos carries the Fleetguard, but I get mine direct from my localCummins dealer... I was cheaper but don't remember what I paid.

Genos also has the 4/2/1 deal that has oil, air and fuel filters and I believe you get a break buying this kit.

Point taken...

Well, looks like I'll be buying a fuel filter from the dealer ... NOT!

I've already put in my order with Geno's. I'll be meeting my filter in north GA. , since I'm leaving to go down there before it would make it to my house in MI.

Thanks for the input!

JyRO, I have bought all of my filters from GENO's except my very first one. That is for both oil and fuel. I beleive I read in a past issue of the TDR that Fleetguard is a subsidiary company completely owned by Cummins. At any rate Geno's is the place I go to first. J. R.
