Just received my Westech Fuel pressure gauge from Genos and the directions that come with it state not to put teflon tape on the sender threads... . why?? The directions that are supplied are also incorrect for the sending unit they send. Directions show only one terminal post when there is actually two. Directions also say to ground sender with a hose clamp. Genos says to connect one of the two terminal posts to ground and forget the hose clamp
**** I plan on mounting the sender unit remote on the firewall to isolate it from excess vibration. Should I use a tee connection at the sender to allow the ability to bleed air from the hose going to the top of fuel filter?? How else would air get out and fuel get up to the sender?
