I replaced the lift pump with the FASS pump in the factory location. I get pressure readings at initial key of 16 lbs. 2000 rpm it will be 12 and sometimes 7. It never seems to be the same???

Geno's gauges

Check the grounds and connections for oxidation to the gauge? They could have alittle more resistance then one wants?

Is there an isolator? If so, what type is it.

The most common problem with incorrect fuel pressures come from the gauge install or a leak on the gauge side of the isolator. You can remove the fitting on the gauge side of the isolator and use a blunt object like an eraser head to push the diaphragm back to the engine side. This will most likely cure all your issues.
