Geno's Garage Brite Box

I am curious if the Brite Box from Geno's Garage (1) really does a good job of lighting up the road for the '03 models 4X4, (2) is it easy to install, and (3) can it be had anywhere else cheaper?

DO NOT try them. They will not work. I installed one, when it did not work, called the manufacturer who said they discovered the wiring on the 03's were totally different. He explained it but will not get into it here. Geno promptly refunded money, even though I had to extend the wires in order to make the leads reach the headlamp from the only place I could locate to mount it. (Beneath the battery tray on the driver's side. Again, don't even think about it until they come out with the correct one for the 03's.

I have the B-box in my 01, but will probably be disabling it until I upgrade the wiring. There was a thread a short while ago with other links with good information regarding higher demand lighting. Check here for more info.

A lot of guys with 2nd Gens wired up their own "Brite Box" equivalents with just wiring and relays, for a lot less $$. I'm sure the same thing could be done with the 3rd Gens once someone can figure out the wiring.

I talked to the manufacture a couple of weeks ago and they said the brite box for the 03's are done. They are working on getting out to dealers. Should be any time to see them in Geno's. Just thought I would pass the word. Still dealin! not stealin Greg
