Just finished installing a set of Genos stainless fender edges.
They look ok but my experience with stainless from 3rd world contries has been less than stellar. Time and the winter road salt will tell.
Also the screws provided would maybe be ok to hold the second hand on your wifes wrist watch but are a little on the small side to hold something onto a Dodge. Had to get larger stainless ones to do the job "Ram Tough".

Lowered rear end 4" to set truck level. brush guard, SPA digital boost/egt gauge and pillar mount.

1980, W200, regular full crewcab, 360 gas, auto, 68k original miles, 4 coats of Zeebart but losing ground to the saltwater anyway.

Yo Jack, it does not matter where they were made, it's the type of stainless they use. 300 series tends to rust with road salt and needs to be cleaned with soap and water after being salted. 400 series doesn't rust easily, but costs bunches more, so it isn't used. I put them and the lower body plates on my truck, and I have to clean them every storm.

I should mention that there are only 2 manufacturers of these mouldings. I put a similar set on my 2001. They do take time to install and fit. And as you mentioned the screws are too small. I bought stainless screws from a hardware store. If they are fitted properly, sealed at the screw areas and kept waxed they should look good for quite some time.

I took about 2 hrs. to install them including short run to hdw. store for ss screws. They are fitted good.
What did you use to seal the screws? I am concerned about eventual rusting(front only) where I drilled into the fender edge from road salt in the winter time.
I am going to try to keep my truck out of the snow this winter by going south, way south, but it will eventually be back up here in the winter again.

ol ron: I HAD SOME SOME EXPERIENCE MANY YEARS AGO REGARDING STAINLESS FITTINGS. THE 4OO SERIES STAINLESS WAS MAGNETIC AND INFERIOR. 300 SERIES STAINLESS IS NOT MAGNETIC AND WILL NOT RUST... ... . MORE EXPENSIVE TOO! JUST MY $. 02 WORTH. #ad

Jack,I use 3M Bedding and glazing compound. This comes in a tube for caulking guns. Just about any good sealant will work. Remove the mouldings, dab some sealer in to the screw hole and put together. Anything I install on the truck gets this treatment. I will be installing the DeeZee bedrail caps. On my 99 I installed camper tape to the underside of the rail and sealed the screw holes. Had no rusting whatsoever. Keep the stainless waxed and it will do fine.
