Well not really, I am!

I ordered a set of Seat Savers from them for my truck. I could not figure out which ones to order on line because the descriptions did not seem to fit what I had. So I called them and gave them all the details of my truck. I wanted the charcoal.

The guy told me which ones would fit and I told him I did not have the lumbar adjustment on my seat. He said I did. I said that my truck has the Laramie leather seats with a bunch of buttons on the driver and passenger seat. He still insisted the covers with the lumbar dial would fit. So I orded them.

He must have went straight to UPS office with the covers because I had them on the second day!

I then proceeded to install them and to my surprise I FOUND the lumbar dial. You see, I am 6' 2" so the lumbar was always hidden behind the center piller. That is why I have never seen it. The moral of the story is this. If I had never ordered these seat savers I would have probably never discovered the lumbar knob. And..... what a knob this is. It has made the seats so much more comfortable for me due to my crooked back!

Thanks Gino's, your not stupid after all. I am!

Anyone else out there never noticed the lumbar knob or am I the only dumb guy out there? It just goes to show that you learn something every day.

As far as the Seat Savers go. They are a perfect fit and will serve the purpose I need.

All the time , go to the parts store / home depot , tell the clerk that they do not have this & that , they take me to it and point at it , how could I have missed that ?

I jad a brain fart when I went to replace a gasket on the 9spd Road Ranger we have in one of the Macks. Thought I'd turned that particular gasket every possible direction and such. Thought I had the wrong one (the other 3 in the kit were too big, or too small). Went back to dealer (with part and gasket in hand), parts guy at dealer messed with it, too. He thought I gad the wrong one as well. Went to a transmission/driveline shop. He had it figured out almost right away. Wasted 2hrs running around, onlt to have the right one.
