Clarification

OK, before a rumor gets started, let me explain.



A while back, Geno's Garage had an employee who watched the various other discussion forums for posts about Geno's Garage products. He posted on a couple of forums that he could offer a free t-shirt, free shipping, etc. if the order was significant. So from time to time, folks call and place a significant order and ask for free shipping, and when it makes sense, it is given to them. That is the same deal offered to TDR Members who call in to place a significant order.



So there are no across-the-board "free shipping" discount out there. But if you do place a significant order, please call the order in and ask for discounted or free shipping. The staff at Geno's Garage is always looking for ways to take care of TDR Members.

Shipping via UPS is very expensive to Alaska!!!!!!!!!!!



On 2 fairly heavy orders in years past, (one was Kodiak steps) I requested USPS, and they came UPS, which added a huge chunk to the orders!!

I second what BRobertson said. UPS is extremely expensive compared to USPS...

Shipping is expensive by UPS to ship a 70 lb package, which is approximately 12" x 12' x 16", to Los Angeles, CA from Albuquerque. Anyone from TDR going that way?

I refuse to use UPS. They rip us Canadians off big time. I had a $25 part come from the states and they charged me $20 for duties on top of the shipping. And this has happened several times when I've ordered items for my company also. They also loose stuff 1 out of 3 times that we get things through UPS (useless postal service). FRAUDULANT!!

Thank you for telling us this. Good idea and it makes sense. Im getting ready to buy a Mag Hytec Trans and also a Rear Diff cover. I had found another dealer with same price as Geno's but with no shipping costs. I would rather give Geno's the business as I liked their service in the past. I will call it in and ask them if they will match the free shipping the other vendor is offering. I hope they do.
