Rusty

Did you mount the outdoor Grill in dash or on hood?

In dash restricts air flow the most.

Makes the cab a bit smokey too.

Neither. I mounted it on the front bumper in front of the stock grille. Do you think this might be my problem?

GFG

My wife has three of them, one in the kitchen, one at the deer camp trailer and one in the fifth wheel. She won't leave home without one,I am talking about the little electric grills, they are great for cooking hamburgers, chicken strips, fish, fast and they are built so the grease runs off the meat, good for old dudes with high cholestrol or whatever that is that the doctor says is bad for you. bg

I hooked up duel GFGs in place of my center console.

Works great except that when you flip them up they dump grease in the back seat.

Thinking about using a 4. 5 inch hole saw to cut a drain hole in the floor.

I use done tonight, to cook a steak. It works great. I just dont like the clean-up, the unit doesnt come apart. . There are others that come apart to clean. I will ditch the Foreman one for one of those someday soon.

Ditch the GFG?

That just unheard of

LOL

I am able to clean mine easy.

The hole saw should be an option for the interior console application.

Bill. . a fair amount of cat litter sprinkled liberally over the rear seat takes care of that issue CAUTION do not leave the window open more than a crack or you'll have some "fresh" scents in there :D

I got my wife one for Christmas. She loves it, she even wants to cook now. (well sometimes).

My only complaint is I wish you could turn the heat down, she burns stuff real quick on it.

There was a guy on the Chevy site that mentioned the GFG on EVERY thread, about 2 years ago.

I bought one because of that, and never looked back!!

Did someone say stainless steel?

I was having a little problem with the lid not opening... . but I used a little of the spray Amsoil and it works just fine. . It also gives the food a great flavor too... and no calories

Rick

We bought one of the smaller ones (not the smallest) about 2 weeks ago.

Now I have to worry about wifey being mad at me and plugging it in beside the bed in the middle of the night and putting my hand in it while I'm asleep. :--)

Keep in mind Rick, that Amsoil has a Food Grade grease, that would be excellent for that application. ;)

New ones have adjustable temp!

Now you can adjust the temperature on some of the units.

I will send a link of this to George himself.
