I have thought of this, and I think on my next change, I will pull the left PTO cover, drill a hole, and then weld one of the threaded dohickies (that you put on the exhaust pipe for post turbo installation of the thermocouple), and weld it over the hole. Then after filling the transmission up to the factory level, plug that hole, then go to the other side and put in your extra quart. THe plug from the boost line fitting ( out of the manifold) will work to plug the dohickie. If I do it, I will try to post pics. I pulled the shifter and it is a BIG PITA to do alone. And pulling the left PTO cover will make it a lot easier to access, as it is a bit crowded on the right, esp 4x4. Hope this wasnt too confusing. I imagine you could use just about anything to weld on to the hole, as long as the plug has short threads to not interfere with the gears.
