Hi Gang! Thank you all for the "get well" wishes. What a special thing to have a "family" feeling with my TDR gang even though we've never met. I am out of the hospital and am staying at my friends house for about another week. I'm not quite ready to head home and take care of myself and my daughter on my own yet. When I do go home, I've got an old Apache lady who is a dear friend who will stay with me for a few more weeks.

I ended up with a burst fracture of L2 and a little temporary "dain bramage" but will recover completely. I now have titanium installed as a replacement vertebrate. Sounds high tech to me and you can be sure I will be looking for performance upgrades for this new piece of equipment!

I will post another note telling you what happened in my accident since it did involve my truck :-( . I don't remember much of it since I was the only witness, but it was definitely a freak accident. I haven't seen it yet, but I understand there is a little body damage to the cab. Guess it's time to repaint the whole thing!

Thank you all again and I will be checking back in regularly again. Sincerely, Eva

p. s. The highlight of my hospital stay was one day when I got to go outside for some fresh air. I saw a 1st gen truck that made my just about slide out of my wheelchair! It was a white 4X4 250 extra cab that was immaculate! It only had 73,000 original miles on it and looked like it came off the showroom floor. I think that was when I decided to repaint my Darlin'!

Update..

Just a quikie to say that she is doing better but still is not up to "visiting" here just yet. Said she misses all her family here! :) I shall keep y'all up on her ongoing recovery!!
