Oo Oo Well well well it only took 2 trips to the dealer and 1 hour on the phone to get it right and I don' know how many reams of paper and info from this site to finally convince the mechanic it is the LP. Remember in the very first post I said the truck is a 2000 titled as a 2001 well the mechanic only now just realized this and also when he checked the computer to day he found the same code in places and it only happened since Friday. " that is Lift Pump Out Of Range"They finally listened to me about the year thing and looked in the 2000 book and said " O yea it is a bad LP we need to order you one" They said they never saw one that was bad and still ran, I told them first time for everything.

The question I have now is since this LP has been acting up for about 3 and half weeks intermittent do you think it caused any harm to the injection pump it self, should I worry about this, it only really acted up on hills but not all the time. The truck is out of warranty but I want to know if I or would it be OK to build the engine now I only have like a year and then some on the engine warranty.

Also how many other people out here have hoped up there engines and voided there warranty? Thanks sorry for all the questions and long postOo. Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo.

More than likely you didn't hurt the vp44. I've been running my engine for about 58000 miles with the performance upgrades in my signature with no ill side effects other than the lift pump going belly up. If you start on the road to more performance, there is no turning back. Invest in gauges first.
