Getrag bearings from Ebay?

Anyone have any luck/experience with getting the Getrag bearings from the Ebay vendors? I've seen there are a few sellers that sell them on ebay for around $100. I can get all the bearings locally for a little under that price, but I don't get the front, rear seals, or pto and top cover gasket that you do when you buy bearings from one of the ebay sellers. Ideas?

I got mine from ZUmbrota Bearing and Gear (ebay name- zbag, followed by some numbers). They are KOYO bearings,which is what my other transmission has, and what came out of the rebuilt transmission (one sitting on the bed of the other truck due to a crack in the case). I have no further experience to report than that.

I just put http://stores.ebay.ca/TRANSPARTS-AT-THE-BEST-PRICES in my transmission. Went in ok no probs. Seemed like quality stuff. I paid 98$, worth it for all u get in one easy pack.

I used the zbag kit in mine. I needed to replace the synchro rings and input shaft while I was in there, so I just called them up and mentioned that I saw them on ebay. Eliminated the ebay hassle.

Sounds like they are good to deal with then. Now what about shims?

Mantrans- ebay member you can also contact directly to bypass the ebay BS. $45 for a set of shims. Didnt ask how many that included. I have access to some shims that work for the counter shaft, and the NV4500 shims will work for the mainshaft.

I bought a kit from Zumbrota, then bought extra brass rings and brs another time. Really inexpensive as he buys them in huge bulk. Wish I could remember where I got the nice package of shims. Possibly from local bearing supply for NV4500 ?

I can guarantee it was no where near $45. Maybe $10. more or less. Otherwise I would be cuttin up Barley pop cans ! Will
