Getrag question ???

While doing a re-torque of all things hexagonal under my truck, I noticed that a bolt on the driver's side of the Getrag-mid case was backed out about a thread and a half. This bolt is just behind the power take-off cover. The '91 service manual has nothing on this transmission... ... . much appreciated-thanks

That's the idler shaft bolt, it torques to 40 ft-lbs. I don't know why, but they didn't put anything about rebuilding the getrag in the factory manuals until 92 or 93. AMIkonis was kind enough to send me a copy from his manual when I rebuilt mine. I'll pass a copy on if anybody needs one.
