I think that the 'ol Getrag can be rebuilt easily in one day, well maybe not easily, but with the combined knowledge of a few, I think all of the tricks could be shared.

Well I'm gonna hold off til SOP to learn how to put these darn things back together. Well I think the best method is to not take them apart. Chris, I'm gonna take you up on your offer. Chris said he's got two fork ring/assembles already assembled and will trade me them for two unassembled rings. I'd like to at least be started on my crew cab project before SOP in October. This transmission build is all that's holding me up.



I gave it a good hour and maybe I'm just not holding my tongue right or something, but I said F it LOL. I got too many other projects going on to spend a whole weekend on a little part. Give me a call tomorrow night or whenever, Chris.

I got some from the rusty core I tore apart. I've used a couple of them since I dropped and for now, lost some from my good transmission.

Hey, someone owes me a 1-2 synchro assembly, or at least some good parts of 2 bad ones that I can reassamble . JApplegate, why dont you come along to SOP and bring my parts transmission?
