getrag transmission

Does anyone know what model # the getrag trans in 91 trucks is? Much to my shegrin, I discovered that my other truck has a getrag 290 trans in it.

My '93 is a Getrag 360. I guess it would probably be the same one in the 91. Is your other truck a chevy? Someone told me thiers had a Getrag.

yup, it's a 89 Chevy 1/2 ton shortbox stepside with the 4. 3 V6. I guess the trans is a Getrag 290 5 speed. It makes a racket too.

It's hard to miss the stacks. I bought the truck from a guy out in Trochu, the only problem is that now they have nothing to put in the parade this year.
