Attention: TDR Forum Junkies A while back there was some posts about the shift tower boot on the Getrag G360 having a small slit in it and of it being glued shut, boot replaced ect.
I replaced mine 2X because of this slit.
It looks like the little slit is supposed to be there. Two new boots had it. It appears to be a vent for the trans so there may be a little oil coming out of it.
