Getting Body Parts

Where is a really good place to find parts (like mirrors, bumpers, grills etc. ) for our trucks... cheap? I can never find anything in junk yards, so I'm talking websites and wholesalers etc.



I need a new grill (chroming is peeling) and a new bumper (trashed it when I was pulling someone out of a ditch) and maybe side mirrors (again, the chroming is peeling), also some interior door panels, and a couple of trim panels. I want to fix everything on this truck.

Thanks for the information that you posted. I have found a useful website for locating salvage parts. It is http://www.car-part.com.



My front bumper is missing its passenger side top plastic cover. If you get a new front bumper and don't need one from your old one, I'd be interested.

I get a catalog from these folks, so I don't have a link for the website page for grills. But the price they quote for grill frame, inserts and headlight frames are pretty good. They don't show any bumpers in the catalog. Might have them on the page.

I think I have one, actually. PM me if interested. It is off a wrecked truck I had 3 years ago, and didnt get it to the next owner. Seems like one or two of the tabs are broken, but JB Weldable.



CB Parker- I'll check if my power mirrors are any good. I have a set from putting towing mirrors on my current truck.



I'll let these things go for shipping.

Power? My mirrors aren't powered. I didn't realize they put powered mirrors on these trucks... what grade of truck was it??? My truck is an LE, what are the grades anyway?

If CB doesn't take you up on your offer for the Electric mirrors I will, the previous owner of my truck must have hit something with the passenger side and replaced the mirror with a standard one, the drivers side is power.
