Two-wheel low kit

Gauges - how long/difficult to install?

Went to the Edge products dyno and also did the Show and Shine.

For "Best Engine" I got a cert. For a FIPK K&N Filter with the heat shield and stuff. Nice prize About $250 in stores

Oo.

Nice score Eric, although if I won one of those I'd toss the K&N element and replace it with an AFE!! LOL. I'm one of those guys who had a bad K&N RE-0880 filter that didn't do too well at stopping dirt :(

Looks same as mine, except for orange hump hose.

Mine is a 2nd Generation K&N-#57-1525.

Have heard many negative comments on the # mentioned by Vaughn but this model is bigger and appears to work better. I have had no dirt. dust, oil in my air tube from filter to turbo, in 30,000 mi. The hard, smooth plastic air tube is superior, IMO, to flexible type.

If your thinking of using it-no worries. Much quieter if you insulate against metal on metal, on the bolt/nut/washers on end of filter.

Thanks for the feedback and your comments RJ.

The 57-1525 is what I specified for my truck on the K&N. The Picture is from a retail store that I copied. I will try the filter that comes with it and see how it does. I have the K&N spray oil for a K&N filter on my quad. Thanks for the tip on rubber insulating the mount.

I have heard of some doing insulating the metal shield itself against the heat of the exhaust. Is this too much and not needed or what?

I ran a Stock replacement K/N filter for 40,000 miles in my 7. 3 PSD. Cleaned it 3 times per kit instructions. They said my mileage would jump. It jumped from 15. 6 to 15. 6. Very impressive! Worked just like their little snake oil demo which sucks a ball or rubber piston up a clear cylinder shows. Sucked my money right out of my billfold.
