Okay i finally purchased a digital camera today, but for the life of me can't get these things sized to fit in either the rig gallery or the truck profile album. what in the heck am i doing wrong, taking to close of pictures or what. :{

Anyone have a idea of what im doing, i tried croping the pics and downsizing them but they are still to big, at least thats what its saying.

You wouldn't think it would be that hard, but im going to stop trying for right now, i still can't get them within size limits, oh well. :rolleyes:

Your not changing the quality/compression. Look in that thread and it talks about it. When you save a .jpg file there will be a quality or compression setting on there. It's usually either a scale of 1-10 or 1-100. You want to set it for 50% or 5. You have it set all the way to max - on your camera it's probably called fine, normal, etc. Your photo editor sw will allow you to change the setting.

there is a quality setting but its : Best, best 3. 2, better, good. thats what on my camera. no compression or anything like that. will have to keep fiddling with this thing, i will get it Oo.

Wyett,

What program are you using to edit your images? If you would like you can email or PM me and I'll walk you thru it.

The compression/quality setting will be on your software on your PC that you are using to resize your picture when you go to save the picture you should see it there. On the camera setting it to good will probably set it to 50% would be my guess. Try taking a picture with it set to good and see what the file size is.

Hey Steve, member Joe G. has helped me out and well basically the kodak software is crapola..... I down loaded Ifanview for free and posted a pic of my truck not the best but a test pic in the reader rig gallery.
