Archived Getting truck flashed with TSB 18-027-03 should i let dealer do this flash

This is not really an 911 issue although i need an answer by 11:00am on 1-19-2004





I am getting truck flashed with TSB 18-027-03 should i let dealer do this flash????



This is the TSB titled No throttle response, lack of power while towing



My issue is lack ow power while towing. Truck towes like total poopo towing a 6500# trailer, now after the edgee box on setting 3 the truck towes grate!!!



What are the con's for the above mentioned TSB



and

What are the pro's????

I had that flash done on my 01 for the same reason. I did not have the truck long enough after that to say if it did any good or harm.

And dealer appoitment got put off till monday, so please anyone with any feedback on the above TSB?????



Also I have a front right wheel bearring on it's last leg humming like **LL And of cource the local DC does not stock that part, Will be in on monday At least the dealer is beeing cool and ordered the part with out my truck sitting there the whole time.....
