I don't know what is going on with my truck, I get the strong smell of burning coolant every time I make a right turn! It doesn't appear to be coming through the heat duct and I couldn't find any leakage under the truck or on the block. I think I am going to grab the pressure tester when i get home but am afraid of what I will find. Money is somewhat of an issue so could you all be kind enough to tell me what expenses I may incur if I do need to replace head gasket? If it is the head gasket I should get the head checked as well but I have no idea were to take it every engine I have ever built has been a gas and the only machine shop I trust won't touch a diesel. Any help out there??

Thanks to all

Dan

Head gasket should'nt matter if turning or not. Bet you need to ease carpet back and feel mat etc for coolant. Sounds like its heater core etc. Pressure test and look.
