I finally got around to getting my GFS pump installed a few months ago. I have noticed a few unusual things that I wasn't sure was normal.
-When the truck is cranked cold (even on a warm day) the fuel pressure starts out at about 16-17 psi. After a warm up of 15-30 minutes the pressure rises to the usual 19 psi. If started warm it goes to 19psi. Is this normal and why is it happening?
-I have had the tank down to about 1/8 of a tank twice with DTE of about 100 miles on the overhead. 1st time was at install and I added 5 gallons before I drove to town so there was about 6-7 gallon in it. Both times it started getting air in the line on braking and accelerating dropping pressure to about 10 psi off and on. Truck ran fine and pressure never got
