4x4 front Axle Socket

Hello fellow TDR,

Weirdest thing with my radio. It just stopped responding to the buttons and all. Cant change the volume, adjust the EQ, eject the CD or anything. So I disconnected the batteries and like magic it worked again for a few days. Now it will go completely dead without so much as a display. If I disconnect the batteries it will work again for a while.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Troy

It must be either AM or FM. Ausome Magic or F*%#ing Magic. Just couldn't resist.

Anyway replace the fuse. It sounds like there is a break in it and has it gets warmed up it will seperate. When it cools down it makes contact again. If it is not the fuse than it is in the wiring or radio. Worth a shot anyway.

Chrysler Radios

The radio in my wife's old Grand Cherokee did something similar to this but when it went haywire I couldn't get it to reset as you did. The display would go blank and none of the buttons would work. I reset the power and then a few buttons worked (the eject button worked thank goodness) and the display was all haywire.

I had to replace the radio with the one I pulled out of my pickup. Are you still under warrantee? Make dodge put a new one in.
