My 1895 SBL came with this XS Lever rail/ghost ring. I am not real fond of it at any distance beyond 50 yards, so you may like it just fine. I just stuck a BSA red dot on the rail, taking the gun over to T-Falls this coming weekend so I'll get it zeroed then.

ill be going with a williams fp 336. ive used a williams on a 10/22 they're great, and line up with the stock sights. if you line up the ring the v and the bead its dead on.

the sight arrived yesterday and installed easily. they said 7-14 days, and it only took 4. with the sight adjusted corectly all that is visible through the hole is the u in the mid sight and the bead of the front. i got the one with target knobs. not quite as svelte as the one without them, but theres no need to carry around a screw driver to make adjustments.

OK! Now you have to determine a Sight Picture to use for your zero and shooting style. The mid sight is in the way for proper use of the peep!

The front sight bead (or tip of the front sight blade) should be positioned half way up and centered from left to right in the rear sight aperture! GregH

I had the williams on mine. Got rid of it for the XS sights.
