The "war" waged against us is a war against our lifestyle. Our freedom to do and behave as we will (life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness) are the very things which cause those radicals to call us "the great satan". It is not our politics (though those are often blamed), it is not our religion, it is our freedom and liberties that were struck.

By savaging us, by killing senselessly in the tens of thousands, they seek to causes us to lose those things. If we allow ourselves to be turned into them - countries that control absolutely all the citizens, then they win.

It is now, at this hour, imperative that we do not surrender to the government, but that we return the power to the people - for it was the people who built this country, it was the people who made it prosperous, and it will be the people who one-by-one will rebuild it, re-grow it, and carry it through this horror, one at a time.

It is now, at this hour, that this country needs it's utmost strength and will. And that strenght and will comes from the people... people who live, work, build, endure, and overcome ON THIER OWN, and in that collective persuit, build a country that cannot be broken, beaten down, or conquered.

Is this ideological? Yes, I belive it is. But, it is an ideology based upon the experience and history of Americanism. It is derived from the true and proper analysis of our history and present. It is, I belive, properly called the American ideology or perhaps American philosophy. Excercised through history, it has demonstrated that it is superior to all others - protecting the people and prosperity and repeatedly, the world.

This posting is a quote from a post made by me on a web forum dedicated to the preservation of the rights of the Klamath Basin Farmers who are decimated by the loss of thier property rights. The government took thier water, water included in the deed to thier land.

Mark, I am proud to call you a distant but good friend. Your words are often enlightening and accurate. I agree that we must absolutely honor and charish the good sense and judgement of the people. That means no more ridiculous gun laws, because, as I live and breathe, this war is going to include the very last one of us in defending our soil. We ain't going to do it without marksmen.

But, Mark, as always in tough times, we need a leader. G. W. Bush has the anger and the calm, the desire and the restraint and the business sense to make this all come together. Without a great leader, there are no great countries. The debacle of the Klamath Basin is as unbelievable as the current scene in N. Y. It gives great credence to your words of frustrationn and anger at a goverment agency which has raped the farmer/rancher since slick willie took office. Yes, we need to band together and get ready to fight, but we cannot win without our leader.

Gos bless you and your family!

Reload baby, it's our turn!

Ron

It is trial which reveals character.

Character is built by a consistent and enduring concious choice to choose the higher road, to consistently refuse to fall when the choices are up and down - and to maintain that same consistency when nobody is looking.

We're going to see, by way of demonstration, what the character of the president will be.

I believe we owe it, in a time like this, to pray for a "ring of fire" about our president and other leaders, and anyone making decisions. The Bible teaches that the prayers of the righteous will influence even actions even of the ungodly. So whatever we believe about the various and sundry people elected to office, we are obligated to pray that they do the right thing - no matter thier character.

Words to think on

Mark, this is something that I wrote on a door in my shop years ago. I don't know who to ascribe them to. They are words to think about .

Watch your thoughts; they become words;

Watch your words; they become habits;

Watch your habits; they become charactor;

Whatch your charactor; they become your destiny.
