Rich - I'm very glad I was able to move (jurry rig) my stock pump and filter to the frame last time the stock LP went south. I'm glad because I actually had the patience and hoped a product like the one you've created would come out. I've visited your site and have a few questions.

I'd like to place one of your 392 systems by the tank (frame rail where stock LP & filter are presently located) preferably one that will leave room to grow my HP addiction (see sig). I don't want anything in the engine bay from the fuel system other than a hose supplying the VP. Will I be able to adapt (Item # : 3929852) as I've described? I like the spin on filter systems for the 03 - 06 your site shows but, is there anything in the works for a 2nd Gen "frame located" unit. Possibly a full 392 system + filter set up for frame location? :p If so I'd like to wait before I purchase, I just cant see running all the big lines & powerful pump into the puney stock filter system when the possibility for an easy to "spin-off" alternative could be available. . . ;)

Haven't made it that far on the 2nd gens yet but it would be fairly easy to do. I have everything here to put something like that together for you. Give me a call on Monday.

Gotta' get back out to the shop. I have a pile of harnesses to finish over the weekend...

Rich @ Glacier - Thumbs Up!

Today I ordered http://www.glacierdieselpower.com/product.asp?pf_id=3929852 and http://www.glacierdieselpower.com/product.asp?pf_id=MK20306. Rich seems like a knowledgable guy aimed at pleasing his customers. He spent some time (several times) on the phone with me figuring out how to best meet my needs - as I want everything back on the frame. So he tweaked his products to meet my needs. Rare! most companies have the attitude "Here's what we got, if you need something else sorry can't help you". Should arrive Thursday Oo. More to come.

Mr Martin. EricBu12 is right about that pressure. I visited your web sight and the fuel pump and 2 micron filter system look good for me. I currently have a FASS and although it is going on three years I do not trust it. When you get that pressure for 2nd gens down to 15 psi with a regulator I would like to buy your system to R&R the FASS. Your web sight is really nice and I like the parts you are carrying. You are filling that niche that you mentioned in your "About Us". I wish the best for you and will become a customer early next year.

I have heard from numerous sources that the VP44 does not like high pressures and that it can damage it. However, I have never seen any evidence of damage to the CP3 from too much pressure. I have one that has had 27 psi being fed to it for 2 years. In fact even the manufacturer of the modded pumps recommends no less than 30 psi at the inlet. He has been running his at over 40 psi at the inlet for well over a year. Then there's ATS's modded cp3. It has a 100 psi pusher pump that kicks on under load. They don't seem to have any problems either.

What about 2nd gen guys who have cam's that run mechanical fuel pumps off them. Those guys see 30-40 psi and their VP's are living a long time.

15 psi should be no problem at all. Just a matter of dropping a couple of shims out of the regulator. I look forward to hearing from you in the future and thanks for the compliments on the site!

hahahaha, Just like me! I got the 2-micron it and the Gl392 kit today, Almost did not go back to work and wanted to stay home and do the install :)

But I figured I had to pay the bills as well. I am really pumped to have a quiet pump that can hold 20psi at full tilt. With my current pump, on a 600hp run, I pull down to 12psi easy...

I've not been able to install yet - even though I took off this Thursday & Friday. I have a paver patio project that has to be done first . . . I've got everthing done except the brick install - going for them this morning. So that leaves all day Saturday to do a nice neat install Oo. :D Will post pictures of finished product - Oh, just an afterthought - truck rode reall sweet with 48 - 50# bags of base material over the rear wheels. Doing the math that's 2400# on my 3/4 ton 2500. I didn't even know it was there, the new GMC rear wheel cylinders helped stop like there was an empty bed back there. :-laf

Done :D . Nice kit, directions easy to follow and accurate, all parts included. Will post pictures tomorrow maybe, depends on the weather  - rained all day long. I was able to put tarp up on gutter in front of garage door and run it over the top of the truck early this morning before it started raining hard. It was either that or wait another week. Very quiet pump, 18 - 20 psi on in cab gauge Oo. , hope to check w/mechanical one tomorrow. Rich is "very" reachable by phone or PM if needed.

Outstanding product, customer service and customized to meet customer's particular need. Way to go Rich!!! :D
