I just wanted to post a note regarding the excellent customer service provided by Rich @ GDP. I purchased and installed the GFS-392 system, big line kit, and 2 micron filter kit last summer. Pressure was always 18 - 20 never less that 17 WOT w/comp @ 5/5.

Recently I was having a problem with erratic pressure - cruising down the road it would drop from 20 to 10 then 2 and back to 20? Then sometimes it would just flatline @ 12. Since I had just installed a new pre-pump screen and new 2 micron filter I wondered what the heck I did wrong? So, I checked everything and cleaned the sending unit connections, di-electric greased the nuts thinking possibly there was a dirty connection. . . same thing:confused:

I called Rich and discussed, mentioning I had a dyno event the upcoming weekend (Spring Fling - see numbers in sig - very pleased) and would hate to loose my VP during the runs, he sent me a new pump and install kit - no questions. After I installed just the pump, I returned the old pump and all the items in the install kit to Rich. All was well for a few days then it started again. I installed my mechanical gauge and observed from the cab - both gauges we dead on 20??? then the electronic one started to bobble a bit. I took the mech gauge off (leaving the hose on) and purged air from the line - rock solid again?

The short is - I relocated the stock LP & Filter assy on the frame prior to the GFS system install and never removed the filter canister from the loop as I wanted to keep the heater and WIF sensor function - I did gut the filter and left the plastic cartridge top in place so there was something to seal the canister up with. Turns out the water drain on the stock canister had a small leak that would draw air in and create an air cusion between the liquid fuel and sending unit (if you will) that caused the erratic pressure.

My hat goes off to Rich, glad it wasn't the pump sorry you had to send me a new one just to eliminate your system from the loop. - Thanks.
