Anyone using the MK-2+ Big Line kit in their trucks? I'm thinking about getting one and wanted to know what you all thought. Having extra filtration just seems like a good idea.

The oil is next, but don't know if I'll go with the FS-2500 or the Amsoil setup. Any help is appreciated. Thanks all!

Zillons of posts/threads on the same kinda question. Use the SEARCH function and probbly read for ages. But to answer your question. Great Products and service from them from what all I've ever read about Glacier. I buy from him when I do a fuel upgrade on mine.

I have the Glacier kit on my truck and it works great and is easy to install.

I did find that when i tried to have the Jake brake installed one of the fuel line fittings on the injector pump is in the way but Glacier has the right fitting to provide the clearence for the vacuum pump bracket.

I also have the Amsoil bypass filter installed on my truck.

Glacier Diesel has excellent install . doc's on their webpage but they're easy to miss. Go to the Home page and look over to the right. I'd been to his site many, many times and didn't see those links until I called him one day. Nice guy too.

Rich at Glacier is a very nice guy. I have the 2mic filter and big line kit with the 392 pump, no complaints on my part.

I have the 2-micron filter and the big line kit installed on my truck. Very easy to install, his instructions are spot on, has pics. I mounted mine on the intake horn, the one he sells as well. I am very pleased with how it all went together and also how it is doing it's job.

I have the Amsoil BMK-11 bypass filter on my truck. I mounted mine on the firewall, passengers side. Doing it's job well. Another excellent product.

Richard is truly a great guy, will answer questions and make sure you understand the answer, not just spit something out or skim the surface leaving you hanging. Excellent products, well put togehter.

I've dealt with Richard before too, cannot speak highly enough about him for service and ANSWERING THE PHONE! He called me back right away one time regarding a question when he wasn't there.

I have a fuel boss, the 2 filter w/ water-fuel seperator thing, the stock fuel filter bypass thing. The kits are very very complete, I'm afraid lots of other places don't have nearly the completness of GDP's kits.

Looking at the stuff you get (pump, hoses, brass adapters, etc. etc. )it's clearly high quality stuff, and I like the modularity (seperate pump, filter) and it's affordable to even buy a spare pump if you're so inclined (I'm not)

The fuel boss mechanical pump you can set as a complete seperate system, so you don't replace the OEM fuel pump, you have a seperate fuel intake 'straw' lines to the new pump and filter, regulator valve that send excess back to tank etc. There is a Hobb's pressure switch that only turns on your electric pump between keying your ignition switch and starting, and if your new 'drawstraw' is higher than the level of fuel in tank (so pressure drops). You can't really replace the existing drawstraw in the tank with a bigger one that is in the optiminum place (but you can get it close) because the existing fuel pickup is 'molded in' the bottom of tank. Also the mech. fuel pump is cool because when your RPM's are up, so is your fuel pressure unlike a electric system. The mech. pump can pump way more than you need, and you can replace the spring in the regulator so you can increase pressure to the CP3 up to like 90 or 100 lbs. I believe if you want.
