Feel bad for any of you guys that live in Washington, I think I would have to buy a gas truck intead. This is off the Flying J site today.

WA, Ellensburg I-90 Canyon Rd Exit 109 2. 799

WA, Federal Way I-5 Exit 142B 2. 739

WA, Pasco U. S. Hwy 395 2. 799

WA, Spokane I-90 Exit 286 2. 699

WA, Tacoma I-5 Exit 136 2. 639

WA, W. Spokane I-90 Exit 276 2. 679

Brace yourselves for more of the same prices are still heading up - out here in the Canyon City sticks of Eastern Oregon, $2. 65...

You can imagine how lucky I felt today filling at the Cheyenne, WY "J", only $2. 019, and I could only take on 120 gals. People still not slowing down though, I try, they run right up my fanny. Doubt I'll be going to WA anymore. Pity. . . pretty country.

Cheers,

Steve J

The J in Lake Station, IN 1. 979. I filled @ the Mobil on 20 on the way to Middlebury and they where 1. 959. Hope the fuel surcharge goes up soon!! These prices are really cutting into the bottom line. Hey Steve do you have a # for Roadmaster?? There website in gone. Thanks, KARL

Hi Karl, I usually fill at that Mobil when pulling out heading West. Sorry, don't have a number for RoadMaster. I had them on my other cellphone. If I ever find it I'll get it to you. I expect the new owner would be putting up a site sometime. Imagine the old one had to come down due to the bankruptcy. It was there quite awhile though. I'll see if I can find a number from the previous owner. Sitting in Gretna, NE for 10 then back to Bristol for a 5er going to Grand Junction, CO. Missed my indoctrination with Horizon two weeks in a row. If things pick up with Bennett maybe I'll just stay put. I get a few backhauls with them, hear none with Horizon cept a horse trailer once in a while, like for nuttin.

Cheers,

Steve J

In Idaho. it`s.......

$2. 54 at my former favorite pump. Time to start riding the Harley more. This is ridiculous. We`re getting hosed, and there is nothing to do but bend over and hope for a kiss. DK.

Anyone know why diesel has been higher than gas for the last year or so..... ALWAYS, ALWAYS, as long as I can remember diesel's been cheaper... what's up??

betcha it's politics ... they don't want everybody to switch to diesel powered rigs/cars

Just got back from traveling in WA state and around the Vancouver area -> those prices are just sh!tty for diesel :-laf

Here in West Texas the prices are also going up, but there's one spot along my way back home from the airport where they still sell diesel for $1. 94 (but of course I didn't have the truck with me ;))

I think it is the one fuel battlefield, diesel, in addition to winter heating season.

Bob Weis

Bio diesel is getting closer to reality. Will not be a price differential before long.

I paid $1. 79 for fuel the other day. It cost me $88. 00 to fill the truck and the low fuel light wasn't even on.

Woodenhead,

I did you really mean $2. 79. The best I can find over here on the West side is 2. 59. Big deal.

Bob,

It is just a rip off. Regular gas for $1. 90 and fuel at $2. 65 at the same station. The trip to MM05 is going to burn a $1,00. 00 bill the way this is going. :( :(

I called home and talked to my Dad, and I asked him about prices at home, south western oregon. He said it was 2. 97 in town and that he had to pay 2. 69 for off road for his tractor. Its still not over 2 bucks here on the base. Fiance said it was 2. 70's in northern Idaho too. I am not looking forward to coming home and not being able to afford to drive my truck.

The way I combat my thoughts as I fill my rig here in WA state, is that I just think of how much I growl when I put 85 gal in my boat, and I can burn that up in one day on the water. Driving the CTD is cheaper. ARG!!! AND, they say this might be the norm for the future. AND, to think I used to live in Cheyenne, WY, and Denver for awhile. Oh well.

Just filled up in Bakersfield,Ca. at $2. 199 a gallon. Drove back to LasVegas and$2. 369 at truck stop as I went by. Thats gotta be a first. Ca. fuel prices lower than Nevada.

Don't visit Oregon if you can't deal with WA

We here in this pacific wonderland state have avoided all the sins of the rest of the Nation. We have no nukes, bunches of tree loving freaks, and no oil processing plants. Welcome to the taxandgougeme demockery.

The moral of my rant? prepare to get robbed if you plan to fill up here! Oo.

Yeah I meant $2. 79, thanks for catchin it. Bob did you mean a $100. 00 dollar bill or a $1,000. 00 bill :D .

Taker Easy

$2.85 in Northern Idaho

Drove by the station today and it was 2. 85 in Moscow, Idaho. I can't figure out why diesel is so much, but gas is barely over $2. 00. Needless to say I've been leaving the truck at home and taking my Toyota.
