:( It hit 2 days ago here, i had posted before that one station near me was at 1. 88 well in one evening it went up to 2. 08. The station closest to me went from 2. 03 to 2. 12 today before i got over there, and regular unleaded 1. 95 for gas and 89octane is 2. 05 with Premium at 2. 10 to 2. 15 depending on what station you fill up at. . its crazy I will have to invest in a Mule to ride to work, those 30 miles will be long now

I really don't think this rural area i live in can stand such a hike in gas, there are alot of my neighbors that make way less than i do and its putting a strain on me. What amazes me is that all this stuff keep getting higher and higher but our wages and earnings are not, and they call this the land of the free, Hah my keester it is. Washington DC. is just a legalized form of Communism and most think there the best thing since sliced bread, not me.

2.79 tonight

Just saw 2. 79/gal at mobil off I5 and stafford rd

2. 69-. 71 everywhere else. Who's got the cheapest on Portland's west side. i'm running on vapor.

JUST you guys wait......

They're using us as a test case - remember this post - I'll bet all of you that by Aug - you'll think $2. 50 WAS CHEAP! Thank you you freaking SOB's oil companies!!!

This is exactly why CAPITALISM will always eat it's young! And here is the problem with the so-called free market----it sure the hell ain't free!

I agree.

They'll see we continue to buy fuel (because we have to) and continue to pay whatever price they ask (they have us by the b***s). Even if for some reason the price/barrel of oil went down I figure the greedy fools will just use it as a way to make more $$/gallon and continue to keep fuel prices at whatever we are paying as opposed to lowering it.

I am paying around $2. 40 - $2. 50/gal here in Pittsburgh. Just last week it was only $2. 15/gal. I know at this rate, we will be paying well over $3. 00/gal by summer.

BTW, I gave up driving when we hit $2. 00/gal. I only drive when necessary, and take the bus everywhere else.

I'm with you Woodenhead, every year prices go up, we all sit around and b***h about it. Then they come down 20% of the increase and everyone thinks they are getting a good deal. Oo. Oo. My vote is for a solid $3. 00 before the end of the year. H**l, it might be there by May Maddness 05.

I'm afraid to even chime in here, even though I make the stuff I still have to pay what everyone else is paying. I will still have my summer vacation to Wa St this summer I don't care what it costs.

I hear ya there mac, my local Texaco has always been the cheapest and it has jumped over $0. 20 in the last 2 weeks. It is now up to $2. 39 here in Santa Clarita. Un-friggin'-believeable! #@$%!

What these idiots don't realize is when diesel goes up, EVERYTHING goes up! I build and install misting systems as part of my business, never had more than an $8. 00 increase in price for pump heads, well, this January they went up $55. 00!!!! And these high increases are happening for all the parts I use!!! The excuse I hear, shipping prices and metal prices. I have a friend who is a frieght broker, he is closing his business due to diesel prices. We need to send the powers that be a message, if we all got together with the other diesel sites and refused to buy fuel for just 2 or 3 days, they would get the message real quick!

Im still contemplating that 16 hand mule option, figure i can get to work(sometime in the week still) get my plowing done and hook him up to the gooseneck, anybody know what oats are going for per thousand :-laf
