Anyone ever try these Glowshift gauages? I found them on Ebay the price for 3 gauages with the mount ($209) is really hard to beat. I know I've used Issapro and was going to use again, from Geno's but the price... ... Thought these might be worth a try.

ED, While I have not and will never use them, from what I have read on other forums, they defintiely meet the criteria of "you get what you pay for". In fact, those gauges are nicknamed Glowsh*t gauges... . while occasionally someone installs them and has no complaints, and even raves about how cool they look, I would venture that at least 50% if not more report problems with the pyros or sending units or lighting or gauge accuracy, etc. While Glowshift has a warranty and generally keeps sending out parts for replacement, IMHO they are not worth the trouble of installign and replacing. If you do a quick search on cumminsforum, you can read many threads, a few positive and many negative.

I used the 3 in 1 on my Jeep Liberty Diesel. It was functional, but had little glitches that made it annoying. If you shut off the engine for a few minutes like to run into the post office or get gas or a big gulp, when you started it back up the gauge went brain dead until you shut down and let it sit for 15-20 minutes. sometimes you can't just sit and wait. It was especially frustrating when I was pulling a trailer and needed the feedback most.
The edge insight is worth every penny on a 4th gen. Probably not a necessity, but I would buy it just for the ability to force a regen on MY schedule, not the trucks.

I would stay away form Glowshift. I have the MaxTow 1500 EGT, 0-60 boost and 0-30 fuel pressure gauges on my truck and I wish I would have never bought them.

This has been my experience, purchased 3 gauge set in October 2013. January 2014 EGT gauge will not dim any more had to pay shipping to Glowshift + $10 to get it back. It still does not work right.

April the boost gauge started making noise when the boost is above 20psi. Since I had problem with their tech support I jus bought new one. It does the same thing and Glowshift will not give a refund because it has been installed.

I was warned about their gauges and still went with them. I liked the look and dual readout, but the QC is not there on their products.

Its your choice but I wish I had spent the $ on a tried and true set of gauges like the ISSPRO.

I'm a little worried now. I thought I did decent enough research before sending my father in law to buy them. His past experience was bad with Autometer gauges so he wanted to try something else. I pointed him towards Glowshift Maxtow series. It seemed like the only bad reviews as of lately were the brightness. He actually has 3 dimming setting for both when the lights are on and when they are off. So far he loves them but will see with time how they work and hold up. I saw them this last weekend, they have only been installed for about 2 weeks.

My biggest gripe was they didn't match the dash gauges...but he didn't seem to care. I'll come back with any negative feedback from him here.

Agreed, Why do you need gauges on a stock truck? The EVIC gives just about all important info except EGT'S. Not stock? Yeah probably should monitor at least EGT's. Do you think the dealers don't realize this? Better IMO to get a monitor that plugs into the OBD PORT and gives a lot more features than just gauges. When it's time for a dealer visit you just unplug and leave it at home. Pricing is comparable to a good quality 3 gauge set of which Glowshift is not IMO.

I have the Glowshift dual guage in my truck for the air tank and air bag pressure. So far no problems other than I would like it to dim more for night driving than it does and with this type of guage you can't do anything about it since it is led. It is a bit too bright on the a pilar at night.

Are you referring to the OBDII I posted about, you also can see more than just what the OBDII reports, check the link below, that's what I see on my Nav, and it's all functional.
