GLTDR Event April 7th & 8th - GVD get together & drag racing

I just got this confirmed about an hour ago so I can now announce it here. We are having a get together/bombing session at Genesee Valley Dodge on April 7th ( here's a map - http://yp. yahoo.com/py/ypMap. py?Pyt=Typ&tab=B2C&tuid=13898567&ycat=7844648&city=Flint&state=MI&country=us&slt=43. 012501&sln=-83. 687500&cs=4 ). This dealer has supported the GLTDR with warranty work, parts, and support. They will be providing a barbeque for us and we'll be doing some bombing there (injectors & gauges, and possibly an exhaust brake). Please respond to this message on the forums if you wish to attend so that enough food and parking can be available: http://www.gltdr.org/forums/Forum5/messages/10056.shtml . On sunday the 8th we are going drag racing at the Mid Michigan Motorplex in Stanton, MI from 10 am-4 pm ( http://www.midmichmotorplex.com ) - $15 to run, $5 to spectate, it's a test and tune day so we'll get to run as many times as possible. There is space available in my second lot (3/4 acre) for self contained camping for saturday night, or there are nearby hotels and campgrounds as well. Please go to the GLTDR forum to say if you are coming so we can plan for the number of people attending.

Not much of a response so far - come on guys, it's next weekend. Free food, giveaways, bomb session, a chance to show off your rig, etc. Then if you want to a day of drag racing as well! Could it get any better than this????

Steve, I plan on attending. I did ask on the GLTDR site if this was also for the wives/significent others or just a guy thing, but have yet to get an naswer.

All of the GLTDR events are family events. Mrs Doc will not be going to this one though and I don't know how many wives will be there. We are always trying to include our wives and kids, but it seems a little dificult because we guys get so geeked up about our trucks and the wives could care less #ad
