Tstetson--sounds like a plan on the drive, I'll pm or email you in early March. Ravenna, thats in the Canton/Akron area isn't it?

Cooker, that would be cool i need to kill mine. We'll have to see how many others need it.

Stevek, sounds good. Yeah that is close to Akron/Canton. I dont want to be the lonely one from the East.

O i order my 3000 governer kit and the first of march i am ordering some 370 injectors and a DTT VB. I am ready for the BOMBING party:D Hope i have enough time to put them in. Do i need any special tools for any of those BOMB's? Hope to see every one their. Oo.

Although we are nearing the designated limit, there is still room for more and if we over shoot a little I think we can pretend it didn't happen :)

If you want to attend please post or email me, unless you have already done so.

We have about 27 trucks. Some will bring a friend or spouse. I'd say we're close to the limit, but we'll push it a little if a couple more want to come along.

Doc

So who is coming out of west MI area ? How about a convoy ? I plan on driving in sat morning, but was thinking maybe going to a hotel friday night. Any suggestions ?

Kyle

One week to go

Thought I'd bring this to the top for ya Doc. Just about time to get the venison out of the freezer to put it in the marinade. :D

Kyle, have you decided if you're staying at a hotel yet? I'll be getting in about 1am, haven't decided if I'm going to sleep in the truck or find a rack somewhere.

First gen guys, how many of you want to check your timing? I'm bringing the tools, just want to have an idea how many.

See ya all next week.

I am going to check into a hotel, maybe leave Muskegon/Grand Rapids around 6pm friday. Anyone have suggestions for a hotel over there ? I was thinking a holiday inn or Amer Host. If you guys let me know maybe get a group rate. Kyle

E-mail,

I'm trying to locate a campground in the area so I can bring the portable hotel but can't seem to find one so far. If we can find one then you guys are welcome to stay with me. I have room for 5 in addition to me and I think 2 beds are already reserved. Let me know if anyone knows of a campground in the area.

-Steve

If anyone is interested, I will have a KDP jig available for next Saturday. It hasn't arrived at my door yet, but I'm told it's in the mail and should be here any day.

I plan on doing the KDP fix on my truck Cooker. I think I've found a campground which is about 35 minutes from the event but it will be dry camping so showers will be limited. I'll be driving over on friday night and will be staying saturday night too, want to caravan and join me at the campgrounds?

-Steve

I apreciate the offer. I am unsure yet when I am going to be able to head out, but it appears I will be heading out early Saturday morning. I will know more by the end of the weekend.

Although I know some of the Early 24v are vunerable to the problem, I haven't talked with too many 24v'ers that are worried about the KDP. Definitely better to be safe than sorry.

Talk with you soon,

Ryan

Steve & Doc,

Can you guys bring some GLTDR "stuff" i. e. emblems/stickers/hats, etc ? Also some TDR stuff would be nice also. Still haven't hear from anyone on when they are going over to the east side of the state.

Kyle

I'll have GLTDR t-shirts, sweatshirts, and hitch covers there. I don't have any TDR stuff though. I'll be heading over friday night after work and will be parking the camper at Algonac State Park, anyone who wants a place to crash is welcome, just let me know so I'm sure I have enough beds. I live halfway between Grand Rapids and Lansing. It will be dry camping because they don't have their facilities turned on yet other than A/C so showers will not be available unless there's only a couple of us there.

-Steve

Steve. . Don't they have the restrooms open? Most places shut off the water, but have the bath houses open.

Breck - see you there

Doc

TStetson and 83 Crew Cab--Since I didn't get a chance to send y'all an email earlier, but works been killer of late. Where do you want to try and meet up? I'm thinking that its 6 one half a dozen the other as to whether to run up 75 or go 23/75 so what ever works best for you... Steve
