GLTDR Website Woes

The GLTDR's Web Host has closed down. They were supposed to maintain services until August 1, but I see that they have terminated us today (July 1). I planned to milk our stay on the Featureprice servers until the middle of the month, to get the most out of what we paid for, but they have jumped the gun.



I have requested a change with our domain registrar but it will take some time for it to be activated.



However, the site is still available by going to:

gltdr.dzlfun.com

According to AtlanticNet (who bought FP's assets), FP's former owners/officers have denied access to those assets and summarily disconnected those assets from the net. I had a platinum plan with FP, so my sites werent' supposed to be shut down. Alas, they, too, are gone.

The good news is that I had hosed my web servers, couldn't restart them, got no response from AtlanticNet, and chose to immediately switch everything to my new host (AdvantageCom). I got DHRA's and my church's sites moved in the nick of time, I see.

I guess it just might be possible that I *can* fall into a pile of manure and come out smelling like roses.
