God I love my 08 2500!!

Today I pulled a f350 that was pulling a trailer with a big skid loader on it. He broke his clutch while trying to make a corner. . I pulled him about a half mile to somewhere where there wasn't as much traffic. My truck didn't even break a sweat pulling him and his trailer up a steep road. . I'm Impressed!



Should have taken a pic. . but he was embarrassed enough... .

Furds look and perform their best on a tow hook or rollback wrecker. I always enjoy seeing them being towed.

I've had a few fords that turned down tows at Glamis... too proud I guess

I am still licking my wounds after my CJ lost an ALT, battery and thermostat all in one slow demise in an afternoon, then towed back to camp by a 4 runner While being towed I was able to figure out what went wrong and jumped on it at camp. Replaced the broken parts w/ spares I keep w/ me and an hour or so hooked to my Dodge in high idle to re-charge the battery.
The fellas love to remind me all about that trip.

Sounds like my last Glamis trip with the Jeep in tow. Out cruising the dunes in the Jeep when the fuel pump started fading. Of course my son with his Tacoma was right there waiting to be able to drag me back to Camp-I wouldn't give in and limped it back to camp with about half fuel psi

I drove on battery only until she died, before I allowed myself to get hooked to a Toy

I took my truck to Ironwood, MI in the U. P. about a 500 mile trip, i averaged close to 18. 5 mpg. . I think that's pretty impressive!! Still lovin it!!

This is the View from behind my 2001 where the flat land there has a crust on it, under it is gooey gunk. . The ford was trying to turn around and dug in. . it was a 2WD. Had long strap to harder ground where I was and pulled the truck only out... Then get this. . I aired down the big 245/70R 19. 5" F tires and went around and towed his trailer to harder ground. . Not bad.

Hes either brave or ignorant to be on that kind of ground with a 2wd rig and a heavy TT. Oh wait, he is drivin a Ford, must be the latter...
