Goerand Brothers transmission?

hey guys I was just wondering if anyone out here has ever had them do anything but Dodge truck transmission's? I was driving my wife's Tahoe today and tore the transmission out... . trust me it was a total coincidence now. I have a shop locally that has built me one of these 4L60E before in my less wiser days of driving gassers and it held out great for the next 80k I ran it but I would love the opportunity to give Goerands a shot if I heard from a fellow TDR member that they had good luck on something but Dodge truck trannys with them. Dave's shop is only about 30 minutes from me so I'm not gonna be going across the USA to get them to do it if I go that route. My local shop does them for around a grand for me.

Hey Chris, shouldn't be a problem at all. They had mini-van up on a lift, with the transaxle out of it, when I was there in Jan. They work on GM and Ford stuff, too. They were fixing some really old Ford tranies too. Give Dave a shout. Won't be dissappointed. Love mine.



BTW, how are you liking the heatshield and boost elbow?
