Goerend Bros. transmissions?

New to the board, but not new to the diesel crowd. I 'm about ready to upgrade the transmission in my truck, I have read good things on other boards about Goerend Bros. Wanted to see if others here have used them and had good success. Future plans for truck should put me in the 600hp range so I was looking at their stage II transmission and converter. Any help or advise is greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the site, first thing, fill out your signature so we know all your truck info so everyone can give the best advice possible based on your truck. Second, PM lcaad1249, he is a friend of mine and he has one in his truck. As far as I know he loves it and I know he is in the 500HP range. Other than that, I know alot of guys here have Goerend trannys, I'm sure others will chime in.

Filled out the sig, after transmission upgrade plan on doing injectors, FASS, and a single turbo upgrade. I only tow about 6,000 pounds and keep the TST on 4/2 right now, but starting to feel the transmission shudder a bit when the power really comes on! Figure it's only a matter of time. Plus I just want to turn this thing up and know I can't with the current transmission set up. Thanks for the replies.

I like my Goerend transmission. I'd call and talk to Dave tell him what you have what your plans are both power wise and what the use of the truck will be. I had my flex plate and output shaft break after 2 weeks in the truck (The two parts I didn't upgrade, but also the two parts that he didn't think I needed). It also probably depends on what you're plans are for the truck as far as who you go to. As JFlagg said if you have any questions just ask and I or another customer can try to answer you.

I have Goerend's stuff. Get the billet input and output and Flexplate.



I didn't get the output and now I need it because I've been hearing about alot of guys breaking the stocker at the strip.
