After much research I am going to upgrade the transmission VB & TC triple disc, with the Goerend Brothers. These folks get right back to you and explain what upgrades you need to do. Thanks Dave at Goerend brothers. coobie :D

I tell everybody to call Dave... ... ... . they are super folks with awsome products and warranty... ... and prices! I know I will never be without a diesel truck until I cannot drive anymore and there will always be a Goerend putting the power to the ground.

Dave upgraded my 1996 trans in 1999 and it's still going strong for the second owner in 2006. He's a great guy to do business with. He lets you watch during the upgrade and answers all your questions. The education alone was worth what he charged me.

Plus, He'll (Dave) never sell you anything you dont need. Whats more He will talk you out of spending needlessly. Stands by his product and HE answers the phone himself.

I only have about 5K on mine, but they are hard miles, I know of another that has 30K on it without a problem, and this is a pull truck.

Like others have said, Dave is a great guy with a great product. I have 11k on mine without a lick of problem. I would recommend Goerend Bros. transmission components to anyone, without hesitation.

These are the replys I expected about Goerend brothers, very Positive ones. Makes one feel very confident in there products and doing business with them. Thanks. coobie :D

Dave did my 95 Dodge Scotty Motor Home In October

I drove out there to Iowa from Pennsylvania to have Dave do the trans. What a difference In the way the Motor Home drives. I even got a lot more power and I now get up to speed the way the MH should have IN the first place. I am very happy now and would do It again. There no bull at his shop just does the job the way It should have been done the first place.

I want to put my two cents in as well. I was hesitant in spending that kind of money on a transmission (which is alot cheaper than some of the others out there) but I am glad I did. You just don't realize how much power you are making until it is actually put to the ground. I spoke to Dave two or three times and he always took the time to listen to me and suggest what he thought I needed. I am very pleased with the end result and would do it all over again.

The thing that tickles me the most is at a low RPM climb the truck doesn't buck like a wild stallion anymore. She's tight!
