Goerend Question?

After reading an outrageous # of awesome stories about Dave Goerend and getting an offer from a fellow member to swap transmissions (my 5spd for his GB transmission) I called Dave to ask him a few questions about the swap and the guys trans.



He didn't know me from Adam and basically laid it all out for me. Said if I could get the guys last name he could pull the invoice to make sure what all was done to the trans, gave what input he had on transmission swaps..... went out of his way to explain what he could. I actually had trouble getting off the phone with him because I didn't want to waste his time because I know from reading here how busy he is.



C. D. Day there was this thing called a telephone... . invented BEFORE computers... . try using one before bashing a persons business.

Talked to Dave about getting VB and Triple Disc, he went through everything. Told him I might want to have a friend do the install.

He sent me 3 CD's on how to do the install, and Hasn't Even Made a Sale, YET!!

He'll treat you Better than You Deserve. :-laf

Just the Best

I just want to tell you I talked to him 3 times before I bought anything,

and once at 9P on Sat. nite. :--)

He's very patient and understanding will work

with any body to solve problems. He never tried to sell me anything he

just helped me out. Also, I've never heard of such a great warranty

You just won't be unhappy if you talk with Dave.

Shame on you for being on the net during business time :-laf I think you made more then JUST a comment!!You kind of did a little bashing about goerends getting back to you via-e-mail. Why not pick up a phone?And do you really think you are the only one who seems to understand how small businesses work? As far a whineing sobs I must be one of them who put in 60-80 hrs a week min. ,heck I just worked 53 hours since friday night and its only weds. morning :{ There I go whineing again :{ coobie

Hey guys, starting to sound like a 'Wolf Pack' member bashing some one who dares to comment (if you remember those days :{ ).



And to clarify I have a Goerends, for quite while, and know Dave and think highly of him, but also remember how and why Dave left this forum, because of events related to another competitor and followers comments, similar to where this one is going, etc. !!!



Ask Dave how to catch 'large' horsepower with a belt and a piece of rope :-laf ?

Finally heard from David Goerends - - was only 5 weeks not six - - - he passed some good inffo and I plan to stop by his place next time I go to Waterloo - - - see I do know where St. Lucas is!
